While both mediums have their advantages, I strongly believe that film offers a unique and timeless quality that digital simply cannot replicate. Film photography has a distinct look and feel that simply cannot be replicated by digital cameras. Film captures colors and tones in a way that is soft, warm, and inviting. The depth and richness of film photographs are unparalleled, and the images have a classic, timeless quality that digital photos often lack. Film has a natural grain that adds character and texture to the images, giving them a depth and soulfulness that digital simply cannot match.
Another reason why I prefer film photography is that it forces me to slow down and be more intentional with each shot. With digital photography, it's easy to shoot thousands of images in a single wedding day. With film, I only have a limited number of exposures available, which means I need to be more thoughtful and intentional with each shot. This approach results in a more curated and deliberate collection of images that truly capture the essence of the wedding day.
Shooting film allows me to provide my clients with tangible, physical prints that they can hold and cherish for years to come. Film prints have a tactile quality that digital images simply cannot replicate, and they have a longevity that digital files can never match. By choosing a wedding photographer who shoots film, you're investing in a collection of images that will stand the test of time. I do also provide digital copies of my prints so that you can easily share with your loved ones.

The historic mansion, located in Beverly Hills, has been a popular filming location for movies and TV shows, but it's also a beautiful spot for weddings. The architecture of the mansion is breathtaking. Built in the 1920s, it features European-inspired design elements, including limestone walls, a red-tile roof, and beautiful gardens. The grounds of Greystone Mansion are also quite expansive, offering a variety of backdrops for photography. There are formal gardens with fountains, a reflecting pool, and manicured lawns. There's also a terrace with sweeping views of Los Angeles, which would make for some amazing sunset shots.
Located in the heart of Santa Ynez Valley, just a short drive from Santa Barbara, Sunstone Villa is a breathtakingly beautiful property that offers everything a couple could want for their dream wedding. As soon as you step foot on the property, you are immediately struck by its beauty. The villa is surrounded by rolling hills and lush vineyards, which provide a stunning backdrop for photos. The villa itself is a gorgeous mix of European and Mediterranean architecture, with a classic stone facade, arched windows, and a red-tiled roof. The grounds are immaculately landscaped, with winding paths, fountains, and a stunning courtyard.
One of the things I love about photographing weddings at Sunstone Villa is the sheer variety of locations available for photos. There are so many stunning spots to choose from, including the vineyards, the courtyard, the gardens, and the villa itself. Each area has its own unique charm, and I always love discovering new ways to showcase the beauty of the property in my photos.
The Vista Valley Country Club, located in Vista, California club is a stunning location for a wedding with its picturesque views, lush greenery, and elegant architecture. Upon arriving at the Vista Valley Country Club, I was immediately struck by the beauty of the grounds. The country club sits on 300 acres of rolling hills and lush vegetation, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The main clubhouse, with its red-tiled roofs and Spanish-style architecture, was a stunning backdrop for the wedding photos
